Bid Manager

The Role

The Bid Manager will playa critical role in shaping successful business proposals, by managing end-to-end bidprocesses for new contracts, transforming technical input from internal teams into compelling, accurate, and commercially sound proposals. This will involve the Bid Manager leading the bid process using tools such as checklists, templates, and collaborative editing platforms, collaborating across BD, Product Development, and Programme Management to define winning themes andcompelling value propositions, and managing live bids throughout the lifecycle - from preparation and approvals to submission. The Bid Manager will also provide direct accountmanagement for a select number of key clients.

What do I need?

• Demonstrable business development/bid management experience, gained ideally fromtechnical or engineering companies
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong presentation skills - written, in-person and on-screen
• An understanding of ISO 9001 QMS frameworks would be advantageous
