BI/Analytics Engineer

Programme Start: Q1 2026

A major UK financial services organisation has secured funding for a large AI transformation programme beginning in Q1 2026. We're hiring a BI/Analytics Engineer to turn complex data into clear insights for investment, finance, risk and operational teams.

What you'll be doing

Build dashboards, reporting and semantic models

Collaborate with data engineering and ML teams to shape analytics layers

Ensure reporting meets audit, governance and regulatory expectations

Translate business requirements into well-structured BI outputs

What you'll need

Power BI expertise (DAX, modelling, optimisation)

Strong SQL; experience working with Azure data sources

Understanding of regulated data reporting

Financial services/pensions experience highly desirable
