Our client a global technology leader is currently looking for a BI/Data Analyst to work with the service desk providing support across the business.

Reporting to the Head of IT and working closely with all levels of the business, this role will be responsible for:-

• BI/Reporting/Database Work, SQL
• Build, maintain and optimise Power BI dashboards and datasets
• Develop and troubleshoot Pulse Reporter outputs
• Create and maintain SSRS reports using T-SQL
• Perform advanced SQL work: joins, window functions, views, stored procedures, JSON/XML querying
• Ensure data quality, governance and secure handling practices
• Support data validation and reporting accuracy
• Automate reporting tasks where appropriate
• Assist with 1st and 2nd line support across UK offices
• Manage incidents, service requests and SLAs
• Triage support issues before escalating
• Support onboarding/offboarding including device setup, imaging and configuration
• Administer user accounts and access using M365, Azure, AD and Exchange
• Support reporting-related incidents affecting business services
• Work collaboratively with Desktop Engineers, Senior Support and Infrastructure teams

Essential skills/experience:-

Strong SQL (joins, aggregates, window functions, views, procedures)

SSRS report writing (T-SQL, MSSQL)

Power BI development and data modelling

Pulse Reporter experience

JSON/XML data structure understanding and query capability

PowerShell and Python Scripting

Knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL beneficial

Experience working in an ISO 27001 active environment

Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Analytical, detail-focused and structured

Comfortable balancing BI work with service desk responsibilities
