- This tailored graduate scheme offers a fully funded part-time masters in a Behavioural Science related course, while working in a fast-paced and varied role where you can apply your academic learnings in a real-world setting
- You'll be using behavioural science theory and research methods to provide novel, impactful, and rigorous insights to reduce the risk of poor outcomes for our customers, colleagues and bank
- It's an opportunity to learn how to use applied empirical science methods to analyse large datasets such as using Python on cloud-based software, as well as workflow management technology

As a Behavioural Risk Graduate, you'll be supporting and collaborating with your colleagues to deliver behavioural risk reviews. This'll involve supporting on the design and delivery of primary or secondary research, triangulating across different data sources and linking research with the behavioural science theory to form a conclusion.
We'll look to you to keep up to date with the latest insights and methodological developments in behavioural science and contribute to the continuous improvement of your team's evidence base, methods, and approaches.
You'll also be:
- Supporting the elements of a regular or complex audit engagement
- Contributing to the continuous monitoring of behavioural risk and assisting with the running of a high-performing and innovative team
- Using internal audit tools and resources to monitor and track reviews
- Acting as an ambassador for Internal Audit, helping to build on the reputation and integrity of the function
- Effectively sharing knowledge across the function in relation to specific engagements
To join us in this role, you'll need a good understanding of behavioural science literature and theory, and its practical application to real world problems. You'll demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for behavioural science.
You'll need to hold or be working towards completing an undergraduate degree in a behavioural science related discipline, such as Psychology, Behavioural Science or Behavioural Economics.
Furthermore, you'll bring:
- Experience of undertaking primary and secondary project research, such as designing and delivering online, field, or lab-based behavioural experiments
- The ability to synthesise different primary and secondary data sources, and theories to provide behavioural analysis of potential problems
- Good interpersonal skills
- A drive and enthusiasm to develop your skill set and innovate
- An openness to working in a risk or regulatory context
- The ability to apply behavioural science to consumer financial decision-making
