Behaviour Support Worker

Academics, a leading education recruitment agency are currently supporting an OFSTED "Good" rated primary school in Batley who require a Behaviour and Social Inclusion Worker to start as soon as possible. This is a rare opportunity to work with children who may have strugglewith SEMH and the role will be centred around the well-being and development of primary-aged children. The school are specifically looking for someone who is committed to developing a team approach, working with parents, teachers, support staff and the wider community.

You should have an enthusiastic and passionate approach to the development of children and other staff where appropriate as well as a keen thirst for further learning of their own to develop their own skills. You should also be able to act upon your own initiative, planning and managing your own workload and prioritising and being responsive to unplanned circumstances, emergencies and varying needs.
