Are you a behaviour support assistant with experience of working with young people or SEMH? Are you an enthusiastic and positive person?

A Halifax Secondary school is looking for a behaviour support assistant to work with pupils who are struggling in school with their behaviour or mental health.

Day to day repsonsibilities for this behaviour support assistant role include:

• Supporting children with their learning
• Nurturing activities
• Brain and movement breaks
• Supporting with behaviour
• Reporting to the pastoral team leader
• Being extra vigilant for safeguarding concerns or changes in behaviour patterns

As a behaviour support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and adaptable.
