Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School - Harlow Immediate Start Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming secondary school in Harlow. This is a full-time role supporting students who may require additional support with behaviour, engagement, emotional regulation, attendance, confidence, and wellbeing.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Support students with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
  • Build positive and professional relationships that promote confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
  • Work closely with Pastoral Leaders, Heads of Year, SENCOs, Safeguarding Teams, and Teaching Staff
  • Implement targeted intervention strategies to improve behaviour, attendance, and outcomes
  • Support students both inside and outside the classroom
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
What We're Looking For
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual
  • Experience working with young people in education, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care, or support settings
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence supporting students with challenging behaviour and additional needs
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
  • Graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, support workers, and psychology graduates are highly encouraged to apply
Pay & Benefits
  • £93- £120 per day (depending on experience)
  • Fortnightly pay - reliable and consistent
  • Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement
