The Role: We are looking for a strategic and driven BD Senior Manager, Employment & Incentives, Pensions and Tax to lead high-impact business development initiatives that fuel growth across these key practices. In this role, you will develop and execute BD strategies aligned with firm-wide and client sector priorities, using product insight and data-led intelligence to identify opportunities and drive profitable revenue. You'll collaborate across teams to support cross-selling and contribute to a globally diverse and collegiate BDM function, committed to strengthening client relationships and the firm's reputation. Your Key Responsibilities Shape and deliver BD strategies for the Employment & Incentives, Pensions and Tax practices, aligned with firm-wide growth objectives. Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to support strategic priorities and market positioning. Lead the execution of BD initiatives, tracking progress and adapting plans to meet evolving goals. Use data-led insights and client feedback to identify opportunities and inform decision-making. Develop tailored sector and client growth plans, enabling cross-practice collaboration and market relevance. Support winning strategies and high-quality pitch submissions in partnership with the Pitching team. Collaborate with BDM colleagues across Clients & Sectors to deliver impactful campaigns and drive sector growth. Monitor pipeline and market trends to refine BD approaches and ensure sustainable revenue growth. What we're looking for: Significant experience in business development within legal services, ideally across Employment & Incentives, Pensions and Tax. Strong understanding of relevant practice areas, deal structures, and market dynamics across sectors. Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and manage key client partnerships. Skilled in developing BD strategies, setting KPIs, and using data insights to identify growth opportunities. Confident in leading teams and collaborating across practice areas to drive cross-selling and strategic alignment.
