When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel - like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage - it's critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of 'ohana, or 'family.' Duties and responsibilities related to the Bartender role

• Provide personalised and attentive service, anticipating guest needs and preferences to create memorable experiences
• Take responsibility for the setup, smooth operation, and closing of the bar
• Maintain strong knowledge of the bar menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations, to confidently advise guests
• Follow departmental standard operating procedures to uphold service consistency and quality
• Promote and upsell premium drinks, special offers, and food pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenue
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations

About You

Previousexperience as a bartender in a premium hospitality environment is preferred. You have strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
