Bartender

We're looking for a passionate and creative Bartender to join our team at The Brokers Bar, located in the historic Beurs van Berlage in the heart of Amsterdam.

This is more than just pouring drinks, you'll be crafting cocktails, creating atmosphere, and being part of a bar that's growing into one of Amsterdam's most exciting new hospitality spots. Our evenings are filled with good music, interesting people, and events that bring our space to life.

Success in this role means bringing positive energy, attention to detail, and smooth service to every shift. You'll be a key part of our small, close-knit team, helping to shape the bar's character and guest experience.

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages with consistency and care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience
• Collaborate with team members during busy nights and private events
• Support with closing and restocking duties
• Suggest and test new cocktail recipes
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Prior bartending experience (cocktail-making skills are a strong plus)
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and professional attitude
• Strong communication skills, comfortable in Dutch and/or English
• Able to stay calm and efficient during busy shifts
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
• Interest in hospitality, mixology, and creating a great guest experience
