Barback

We are seeking a barback to support our bar team at The Culpeper. Situated near Aldgate East Station, The Culpeper is a restored East End Victorian pub spanning four floors, with a pub on the ground floor, a French bistro on the first floor, five bedrooms on the second floor, and a roof garden and wood-fired grill on the top floor.

Job description:

• Collect glassware and keep the pub tidy in accordance with our glass collection policy.
• Run glassware through the dishware and polish where necessary to maintain the bar whilst on shift, topping up ice, spirits, softs, wine and bar and generally offer support to the bar team
• Ensure a well-running and clean glass wash machine at all times. Keep the cellar and stock rooms clean
• Assist with daily prep to ensure a smooth running of the day
• Be knowledgeable of the building and our basic offering on each floor to best guide customers
• Engage with and participate in line with our priorities and values around sustainability.
