We are a four star family hotel overlooking the famous Fistral Beach, home to Quiksilver Surf School.

We cater for family adventures, couples breaks or a friends surf trip, with facilities including childrens play areas, indoor swimming pool and a cinema - we have something for everyone!

This role has a starting rate of £12.25 per hour. On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to £12.75 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.

Role & Responsibilities:

To deliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and external guests within the Hotel at any time.
To ensure the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
To be responsible for the section of service you are given and as a task, completing the work to the highest standard expected.
To ensure all our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the up most hospitality and care during their stay with us - we aim to provide an unforgettable experience
To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
Serve food and drinks, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards as set out for 5 star standard.
Keep up to date with current promotions and new products through training and briefings.
Make guests aware of promotions on our food and drink range through training and self-study.
To assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures.
To carry out work for any function or event as instructed by your line manager.
To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
To present the company and yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst linked to Boringdon Hall
To maintain the highest hygiene standards in your personal presentation and manner whilst linked to Boringdon Hall.
To ensure key legislation is complied with and followed.
To ensure all complaints are minimised and handled professionally as in accordance with our policies.
To ensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
