Pay: £13.21 per hour
Hours: Full-time, varied shifts (7:00am-2:00am, including evenings and weekends)

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Supervisor to join the team at The Mitre bar & hotel Manchester. This is a hands on role where you'll lead shifts, support the management team and help deliver outstanding food, drink and customer service in our busy bar and restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Supervise, motivate and support the front of house team.

Cash handling, cashing up and ensuring till procedures are followed.

Open and close the business in line with company procedures.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.

Manage customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

Support stock control, ordering and wastage management.

Ensure licensing, health & safety and food hygiene standards are maintained.

Work closely with the kitchen and management team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Train and coach team members, helping them develop their skills.

Drive sales through excellent product knowledge and upselling.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor, Team Leader or similar hospitality role.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Experience managing busy services.

Confident with cash handling and till procedures.

A positive, proactive attitude and excellent organisational skills.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 7:00am and 2:00am, including weekends and bank holidays.

Personal Licence holders are welcome but not essential.
