The Role

• As Bar Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day bar operation, ensuring every drink is served to the highest standard while delivering exceptional customer service.
• You'll be a visible presence on the floor, supporting the wider front of house operation and inspiring your team through hands-on leadership.
• This role would also suit an ambitious Bar Supervisor who is ready to step into their first management position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team during busy lunch and dinner services.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service.
• Train, coach and develop bar staff.
• Maintain consistently high standards of drink quality and presentation.
• Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships.
• Monitor GP, minimise wastage and maximise profitability.
• Ensure licensing, health & safety and compliance standards are maintained.
• Support the wider front of house management team as required.

About You We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or experienced Bar Supervisor within a premium pub, gastro pub, restaurant or hotel.
• A passion for quality food, drink and genuine hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A hands-on management style with great attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.

Package

• £31,725 basic salary
• £10,000-£11,000 annual tronc
• Total package of approximately £42,000-£43,000
