BAR MANAGER


San Clemente Palace, Venice Bar Manager is in charge of overseeing Clemente Bar, Sunset Bar and Pool Bar venues, which offers traditional and signature Italian cocktails. Bar manager will manage the entirety of staff and directly report to the F&B Director, contributing to its daily operativity and financial operations and being fully responsible for its success.


Duties and responsibilities:

Motivate, train and supervise all bar colleagues

Ensure that San Clemente Palace's Legendary Quality Standards, policies and procedures are properly understood and followed by its team

Ensure that the outlet operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining standards in terms of food, service, health & safety and reputation

Conduct all the bar's staff Identify and carry out any specific training and development needed among the team

Ensure that the bar's team has a good knowledge of preparing and proposing cocktails and delivers it to the guests

Ensure that the bar's grooming and hygiene standards are always met

Deal with guests' complaints according to hotel's standards

Take special care of VIP guests

Ensure that tables are arranged and set up according to hotel's standards and policies

Ensure that service stations are correctly arranged and set-up

Ensure that all staff members are familiar with the correct billing procedures

Perform every other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by management

Requirements:

Minimum 2-years experience in a bar management position within a luxury hotel/restaurant

Proficiency in Italian and English

The knowledge of a third language is a plus

A Tourism or Hospitality degree

In-depth knowledge of cocktails, wine and beverages

International work experiences

Excellent attention to details and guest service attitude

Charming and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills

Multitasking and teamworking excellent skills

Good IT skills especially with Micros system

Flexible schedules and working hours plus the willingness to work on weekends and holidays
