We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Bar & Lounge Manager to lead the team at Conor's Bar and ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered.

About the role The Role

As Bar & Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of Conor's Bar, ensuring guests receive outstanding service at every touchpoint. You will inspire, motivate, and develop your team while maintaining the highest operational and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth and efficient running of Conor's Bar on a daily basis.
• Lead, motivate, and support the bar and lounge team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure all service standards are consistently maintained and continuously improved.
• Build strong relationships with guests, actively engaging with them to enhance their visit and exceed expectations.
• Manage beverage ordering, stock control, stock takes, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor and control departmental costs while maximising revenue opportunities.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and food safety regulations.
• Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Drive a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the outlet.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Bar Manager, Lounge Manager, or similar supervisory role within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high performing team.
• Excellent knowledge of beverage operations, stock management, and service delivery.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A hands on approach with the ability to lead from the floor.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment.
• A commitment to going above and beyond for guests and colleagues alike.

Experience:

• 2 years in a supervisory level or above (required)
• Work authorisation: Ireland (required)
