Banqueting Chef Dalmeny Park House Hotel Full-Time

We're looking for a passionate and highly organised Banqueting Chef to lead our banqueting kitchen at Dalmeny Park House Hotel and deliver exceptional food experiences for weddings, conferences, and special events. As Banqueting Chef, you'll take full responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of our banqueting kitchen, leading a talented team to produce high quality dishes for large scale occasions while maintaining the outstanding standards our guests expect. What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead, motivate, and inspire the banqueting kitchen team.
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Manage food costs, stock control, and ordering.
• Collaborate with the Events and Functions teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs.
• Uphold food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Support restaurant and private dining food service where required.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level in a high-volume kitchen.
• Experience in conference and banqueting service is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent culinary skills with creativity and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
