JOB TITLE: Banqueting Casual - Roe Valley Resort

JOB REFERENCE: BC 06/26

REPORTING TO:Conference & Banqueting Manager

HOURS:Part-time - Shifts around 3-4 hours, you will be required to work at least 4 shifts per month, and weekends are included.

JOB LOCATION: Roe Valley Resort, Limavady

SALARY: Will be discussed at interview

About the role:

Roe Valley Resort has become renowned for its beautiful setting, which lends itself quite magically to becoming a dream wedding location. We also cater for other private events including formals, private dinners, and corporate meetings. As a Banqueting Casual, you will join a fantastic, dedicated Conference & Banqueting team focused only on delivering tiptop service to all our visiting guests. Job Description:

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming all guests in a friendly, polite manner.
  • Serving food and beverage in a variety of settings and styles.
  • Following the daily order of events as directed by the Conference & Banqueting Manager.
  • Directing any customer complaints to the Banqueting Manager.
  • Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Resort standards at all times.
  • Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
  • Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.

The Person:

Applicant must:

  • Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service.
  • Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work morning, daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to multi-task.
  • Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
