Job Description
We're looking for a Banking Senior Legal Counsel to join our client, a British financial institution, to support them for at least 6 months.
You'll be joining the team at an exciting time while the business is growing and set to be busy with a push on product launch and development.
Responsibilities- Work on the legal aspects of product launching, ensuring all requirements are met for smooth market entry.
- Negotiate contracts involved in acquiring products.
- Provide legal support and guidance to the SME banking function to help navigate complex transactions.
- Mitigate potential risks in complex financial transactions.
- Manage the legal requirements of product launching and acquisitions.
- Mid to senior level banking lawyer with previous experience from a similar in-house background.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of SME banking to provide strategic legal guidance.
- Experience managing legal requirements of product launching and acquisitions.
- Ability to navigate and mitigate risks in complex financial transactions.
Full-time. One day in the office in London (other UK locations considered). Start as soon as possible and run for at least 6 months.
