Banking Operational Risk Manager

For one of our clients, we are actively looking for an Operational Risk Manager within the financial services sector.

For one of our international banking clients based in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior Operational Risk Manager to join a growing Risk function.

This position offers the opportunity to oversee operational risks linked to critical banking activities while working closely with business leaders and control functions. You will play an important role in strengthening governance, improving control frameworks and ensuring that operational risks are appropriately managed within a complex regulatory environment.

Your Mission

As part of the independent Risk team, you will provide oversight over operational risk across transaction banking activities. Your role will focus on identifying control weaknesses, challenging remediation initiatives and helping the business maintain a strong and sustainable control environment.

You will interact with senior stakeholders across Operations, Business, Technology, Compliance and Audit, providing independent advice and ensuring operational risks remain within the organisation's risk appetite.
