Tosucceed in this role, you will need to have a strong clinicalbackground in acute surgical care. We are looking for a dynamic andpositive individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe,Effective, Responsive, Caring, and WellLed.

The successful candidatewill work in collaboration with the Theatre team, developingexcellent working relationships with staff members, consultants andkey stakeholders.

They willassist in driving sustainable excellence in the safety and qualityof care and services.

They will support theQuality agenda by monitoring achievements against requiredstandards, identifying risks to quality of care and services andplanning, recommending /implementing changes for continuousimprovement.

DuchyHospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellentreputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments andservices. Duchy Hospital was opened in 1981 by the late HRH QueenElizabeth the Queen Mother and is located in a pleasant ruralsetting on the outskirts ofTruro.

Essentialexperience and qualifications for thisrole

• ODPlevel 3

• Comprehensiveunderstanding of relevant clinicalstandards

• Excellentorganisational and communicationskills

• Sound computer skillsand knowledge

• A registeredmember with theHCP
