About The Role

Practice Plus Group's new Birmingham Hospital is looking for a Scrub Practitioner to join our team on a bank basis. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patient's treatment is of the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

As a Scrub Practitioner you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, with particular regard to the differing needs of sedation and recovery. You will support the operating team ensuring safety and quality throughout each procedure.

What we'll look for in you

You will be a Part 1 registered NMC Nurse with experience as a theatre practitioner, or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner, and have up to date knowledge of current research and developments in theatre practice. Sound knowledge of health and safety/risk management within the operating department is required.
