Job Description

We are currently looking for a Bank Nurse to lead our team and ensure we are offering the best standard of care to our Residents.
We are currently expanding our Bank (Relief) Team across our nursing homes and are seeking compassionate, reliable professionals to join us.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents in line with best practice and organisational policies
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
- Administer medications safely in accordance with medication management guidelines
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report any changes or concerns
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Work collaboratively with healthcare assistants, multidisciplinary teams, and management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide appropriate care
- Provide emotional support to residents and communicate effectively with families
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in handovers and maintain clear communication across shifts
- Relevant nursing qualification with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Valid right to work in Ireland
- Previous experience in a nursing home or hospital setting is desirable
- A positive, compassionate, and caring attitude towards residents
- High level of flexibility and reliability to support varying shift requirements
- Excellent hourly rates
