Hope House Children's Hospices has an opportunity for a Bank Nurse to join our team based in Oswestry. As a Bank Nurse you will have the flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts, providing additional cover for absence and holidays. In return you will receive a competitive rate of £24.99 per hour, plus unsocial and weekend enhancements.
Main duties of the jobWe are looking for a Registered Nurse (Children's Nurse or Adult Nurse (RN) with paediatric experience) to provide excellent specialist palliative and end of life care to children and young people. The role requires a self motivated, compassionate nurse who can work as part of a supportive team and deliver holistic care to children and young people with complex, life limiting conditions. A minimum of two years post registration experience is preferred.
As a Bank Nurse you will be expected to deliver a high standard of individualized care, integrate quickly, and work as part of a team. We will provide comprehensive induction and access to relevant staff training opportunities. This role is ideal for nurses seeking flexible working opportunities, who are able to respond to shifts as required while maintaining the highest standards of care.
You will continue to develop your knowledge and clinical skills and build meaningful relationships with children and their families, ensuring that the right care and support is provided when they need us most.
