General Practitioner - Cricketfield Surgery, Newton Abbot

Salary: £65 per hour - Bank hours

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, working closely with clinical leads and the local practice team to support the surgery's operational plan.
• Maintain participation in clinical governance activities and contribute to the improvement of health outcomes through audits and the Quality and Outcomes Framework, supporting the practice in meeting QOF, CQC and other quality standards.
• Provide clinical care as outlined in the job plan and the total triage model, including in person and video consultations, telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, safeguarding duties, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on call duties (excluding out of hours).
• Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards set by the GMC, putting individual patient care as the priority.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver and review the surgery action plan covering list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.

Ideal Candidate

• Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list, engaged in regular clinical work.
• Experience as a GP with MRCGP examination or equivalent accreditation.
• Clear commitment to delivering quality, patient focused services.
• Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and proficiency in clinical coding.
• Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb preferred.

• GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
