Job Overview

Bank cook with Agincare. Deliver great food and support residents' dietary needs in a care home setting. The role is more than cooking - you will work with a team to provide a high quality of life for those who need it.

Responsibilities

• Menu planning - collaborate with the home manager and residents to develop and implement menu ideas, including themed days and events.
• Understand dietary needs - work closely with staff to meet residents' specific nutritional and dietary requirements, including modified food textures and allergies.
• Kitchen management - act as the main contact for the kitchen, responsible for daily stock management and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of right to work in the UK.
• Background in kitchen operations and knowledge of how to run a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).
• Flexibility to work day and weekend shifts as needed.
• Local to areas close to Waterloo care home: Ringwood, Ferndown, Verwood, West Moors, Colehill, and Parley.
