Be a part of it.We are currently recruiting for a Bank Chef with previous experience working in a catering/kitchen/hospitality environment who can cover flexible ad hoc shifts as and when required to cover for annual leave, sickness, training, etc. at Cygnet Hospital Ealing.Our current need is for bank staff to cover morning shifts (07:30am to 15:30pm) across a 7 day rota (Monday Sunday).Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate wards.Our team works hard to create a cheerful, non-institutional environment, and to support individuals in their recovery and personal transformation. We make use of a range of therapies including psychodynamic, family, occupational, art, drama and complementary therapies. We also believe very strongly in patient-centred care, and involve our service users in shaping their own treatment, and in all aspects of hospital life.Your day-to-day Prepare, cook & serve nutritional, balanced and appetising mealsProvide special diets, taking into account individual preferences & needsLiaise with nursing colleagues to meet patients nutritional & dietary needsMaintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas & dining roomEnsure compliance with health & safety standards and Food Hygiene RegulationsHandle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet proceduresUse chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulationsWhy Cygnet?
