Bank - Afternoon School Cleaners

Network Catering is seeking Bank - Afternoon School Cleaners to work across primary and secondary schools in Birmingham. This temporary role pays £12.71 per hour and requires individuals to carry out cleaning duties in classrooms, offices, restrooms, and hallways. Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene standards on floors, surfaces, and fixtures, safely disposing of waste, and replenishing supplies such as soap and toilet paper. Adherence to health safety and safeguarding protocols is essential, with prompt reporting of maintenance issues or hazards. A valid DBS check and prior cleaning experience are required.

What You'll Do

• Carry out cleaning tasks across assigned commercial areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and classrooms.
• Use the correct cleaning tools and products to maintain high standards of hygiene on surfaces, floors, and fixtures.
• Remove and dispose of waste safely, following company procedures.
• Replenish supplies including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels when required.
• Adhere to all health, safety and safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Promptly report any maintenance concerns or hazards noticed during cleaning to the supervisor.
• Consistently maintain excellent cleanliness standards, ensuring all areas align with company quality expectations.

Pay and Hours

£12.71 per hour. Monday to Friday, between 3pm and 6pm.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ months cleaning experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (payable by applicant).
• Ability to follow instructions and work professionally.
• Work references covering the last 3 years - professional email addresses required.
• Able to communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
