We are looking for an exceptional Deputy Chief Nurse to join our senior nursing leadership team. The role focuses on improving patient experience and customer service across the Trust.

Main responsibilities

• Lead a major programme of work across patient experience and customer service, working with teams across the organisation to turn feedback into meaningful change.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Chief Nurse and broader leadership to set and track patient experience goals.
• Engage with patients, staff and families to understand needs, challenge current practice and champion change initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategies that translate data, surveys, complaints and patient stories into actionable improvements.
• Provide senior leadership support, influencing decision making at the highest level while keeping a patient Centred perspective.

Person Specification

Applicants will be assessed against the following criteria:

• Senior nurse leader with proven experience delivering service improvement projects.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on patient feedback.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
• Commitment to NHS values and a collaborative, inclusive working style.
