Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking to make a real difference in emergency care? We invite you to join our friendly and well-established team in the Children's Emergency Department.
You will be working alongside a fantastic multidisciplinary team, committed to delivering high-quality emergency care to all children and the young people. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the continued development of our paediatric services.
Currently, our service covers a 7-day service, 07.30am - 22.30pm although there is potential for increased hours as the team evolves; there is flexibility with shift patterns and individual requirements (to be discussed at interview).

Main duties of the jobWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and friendly team in the Children's Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to children and young people.
As an ANP, you will work both autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT), using your advanced clinical skills to manage undifferentiated patients aged 0-16 years presenting with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries across all levels of acuity.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will actively contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our paediatric services through leadership, education, and research with 20% of your time protected to support these key pillars of advanced practice

Person Specification Education- Registered with relevant professional body
- MSc in Advanced Practice
- Non-medical prescriber
- APLS Provider
- APLS instructor
- In depth knowledge of Paediatric emergency care
- Working knowledge of clinical governance
- Safeguarding Children experience & sound working knowledge
- Competent speciality experience
- Evidence of good leadership skills
- Undertaken a service or quality improvement
