Job Description: Band 7 Podiatrist
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 7 Chiropodist/Podiatrist to join our dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and innovative clinical environment, providing high-quality podiatry services to our diverse patient population. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with a range of foot and lower limb conditions.

Perform clinical procedures including nail surgery, wound care, and orthotic provision.

Educate patients on foot care and provide advice on managing their conditions.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Participate in clinical governance activities and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Supervise and mentor junior staff and students as required.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

HCPC registration as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist.

Relevant degree or diploma in Chiropody/Podiatry.

Completion of NHS mandatory training.

Proven experience working as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.

Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in nail surgery and advanced wound care.

Competence in the provision of custom-made orthotics.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
