Job Title: Band 7 Children's Community Nurse

Salary: £32.00 per hour (gross, full rate)

Description: We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Children's Community Nurse to work with an NHS Trust in Chadwell Heath. This full time locum position is based in a Community Paediatric Nursing Service, with proposed working hours of Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The role is set to begin on 24/11/2025 and will last until 30/01/2026, offering an hourly rate of £32.00 (gross, full rate). Please note that this position is inside IR35.

What sets this role apart is the opportunity to work within a dedicated community based paediatric team, supporting children and young people to receive high quality, family centred care closer to home-helping to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

Eligibility and Qualifications:

To be eligible, you must have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience as an RSCN or RNC, significant community children's nursing experience, and be competent in assessment of the sick child, IV therapy, central line management, venepuncture, oncology, wound care, long term condition management, and palliative care. Candidates must be on the DBS Update Service, fully compliant as soon as possible due to the urgency of the role, and have 3 years of employment references on file. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are also essential.
