Main duties of the job

• Participate in clinical pharmacy services including, prescription review, patient counselling, adverse drug reaction reporting and therapeutic drug monitoring and individualisation of patients drug therapy.
• Undertake clinical and technical duties in the dispensary dependant on service requirements.
• Perform assessments and support the rotational pharmacists in gaining their clinical development.
• To assist in planning and implementing clinical pharmacy service developments and other medicines related change.
• Provide a Clinical Pharmacy Service to a designated ward, on a rotational basis, under the guidance of a senior colleague.

Person Specification Qualifications

• Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Masters Degree in Pharmacy or UK recognised equivalent.

Experience

• NHS experience is Essential.
• Recent Clinical Pharmacy/Ward experience.
