Main duties of the job

The Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) acts as the front door to secondary care mental health. The successful candidate will:

• Receive and triage all urgent referrals using a holistic triaging tool; refer to the most appropriate service.
• Conduct urgent assessments where needs are identified.
• Provide intensive home treatment, gate keeping admissions to hospital and facilitate early discharge from inpatient units.

Person Specification Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. RMN, DipCOT).
• Specialist knowledge across a range of procedures and theory.
• Professional knowledge acquired through degree/diploma.
• Relevant training and experience from specialist short courses (e.g. STORM).
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Knowledge & Skills

• Substantial experience in acute mental health care setting.
• Specialist knowledge gained within a similar environment over a considerable period.
• Significant experience of assessment, formulation, risk assessment and positive risk management.
• Proven experience of people management.

Experience
