Are you an organised, proactive administrator looking to make a difference in public health? We're seeking a dedicated Team Leader to play a key role in delivering high-quality screening services within our Operations Directorate.

What You'll Do
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Screening Manager and wider team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of office operations.
  • Manage correspondence, organise diaries, and coordinate meetings - keeping everything on track and on time.
  • Supervise administrative staff, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure the quality and consistency of output across the team.
  • Prepare papers, reports, and agendas for meetings, take accurate minutes, and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Develop and oversee efficient office systems and processes to support screening programmes and project work streams.
  • Handle queries and resolve issues independently, maintaining excellent communication with internal and external partners.
  • Collate, monitor, and maintain up-to-date screening information systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
About You

You'll be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and time-management skills. You'll bring:

  • Confidence in managing multiple priorities and supporting team objectives.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Working with Others

You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across the Public Health Agency, GPs, HSC Trusts, the Department of Health, and other key partners to ensure coordinated service delivery and robust governance.
