£12.71 per hour
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Are you organised, reliable, and ready to make a difference in a busy healthcare environment? We are currently recruiting for a Band 2 Clerical Officer to join the team at Ulster Hospital in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a respected healthcare setting, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general clerical and administrative support.
• Greeting patients upon arrival
• Manage patient records and data entry accurately.
• Manage incoming calls and enquiries in a professional manner.
• Assist with scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
• Support clinical and administrative staff as required.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable

• Previous clerical or administrative experience (preferably in a healthcare setting)

Additional Information

• Immediate availability is highly desirable.
• Full-time hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.71
