Bakery Sous Chef - Production Site (SW8)

Location: 3-11 Pensbury Pl, Nine Elms, London SW8 4TP, UK

We are currently looking for a Bakery Sous Chef to join the brigade at our state of the art, exceptionally equipped production kitchen located near Battersea.

Working hours

• Straight shifts, 48 hours a week
• Working hours ranging with shift starts from 1am - 4am

What you will do

• Lead the section, reporting to the Head of Production, and assist with managing and mentoring a team of up to 8 people.
• Ensure that all products are baked and presented to excellent quality.
• Manage food and stock rotation, following our recipes and SOPs in place.
• Organise mise en place, and the team accordingly to the business needs.

What are we looking for

• Experience of working in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member's club - advantageous.
• Previous experience in the same role is essential, within a similar environment.
• Experience in Viennoiserie production, lamination and bread shaping.
