Job Description
The Cultural Service (SEC) is the primary contact for artists and cultural institutions in the fields of performing, visual, and digital arts. Its main missions include supporting cultural events and managing municipal venues. To strengthen its team, the SEC is looking for Court Bailiffs at 50%. Your mission and responsibilities:- Ensure the reception at Victoria Hall.- Receive telephone calls, mail, deliveries, as well as written and oral messages, and transmit them to the concerned persons.- Monitor the building, the equipment, and the alarm systems.- Intervene on the adjustments of the building's techniques (heating, water supply, alarms, etc.).- Update the displays and brochures for performances.- Participate in security checks, as well as drills and alarms.- Control the cleaning performed by the company.- Carry out various small maintenance works (doors, locks, cylinders, lamps, seats, furniture, etc.).Your profile:- Demonstrate excellent welcoming skills, discretion, and social skills, with a good memory.- Be available, flexible, and versatile, and able to perform manual and technical tasks.- Master French and have good knowledge of English (level B2).- Accept irregular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and show flexibility.- Agree to wear, in certain cases, the outfit provided as part of the gender equality policy; the City of Geneva aims to promote diversity in all its services, thus women are particularly encouraged to apply for this position.Conditions and application procedure:Application deadline: Start date: Job classification: Class C of the salary scaleThe application file must contain the following elements:- Letter or CV, or if not available, a completed job application form (to be downloaded from our website).- Copies of diplomas and work certificates.- Recent passport photo.Following the City of Geneva's process, recruitment is decentralized.
