Backend Engineer

About The Job

We are looking to recruit a Back End Engineer to join us on fast moving, innovative and influential work that is underway in the Defence and Security Sector. The role is to be part of a small highly skilled engineering team to extend the capabilities of an existing platform using a combination of AI approaches (e.g., LLM) and ASP logic programming.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience as a backend developer
• Experience with Python
• Data pipeline creation and management
• API creation and integration
• Database creation and integration
• Working with system models and JSON schemas

• ASP (Answer Set Programming) or other logic programming language
• Experience dealing with geospatial file formats
• Expertise in optimisation problems
