Backend Developer

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to help improve the reliability and integrity of our platform, reduce technical debt, and take pressure off the wider team-enabling them to focus on strategic development.

About the Role

• Strengthen platform stability and reduce technical debt

• Write clean, tested code in TypeScript/Node.js and Python

• Maintain and improve serverless infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB)

• Contribute to light Front End tasks when needed

• Participate in on-call rotations and own Back End operations

• Collaborate closely with Front End, Salesforce, UX, and data teams

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Back End experience with TypeScript/Node.js and Python

• Experience with AWS (especially serverless stack)

• Comfortable with REST APIs, testing, and cloud-native patterns

• Light Front End experience (React or similar)

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and self-leadership skills
