This is a hands on leadership role ideal for a technically skilled individual who can lead a team, manage delivery, and act as a key technical stakeholder for core system components such as reporting, configuration tools, and customer/venue management interfaces.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Up to £58,000 based on experience.

  • Nest Pension scheme.

  • Discretionary company bonus.

  • Annual Training Allowance: Receive support for certifications and professional development.

  • Birthday Leave: Enjoy a day off on your birthday to celebrate.

  • Team Outings & Events: Be part of a collaborative and social team culture.

Team Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of developers responsible for DigiTickets' back office platform.

  • Plan and manage development sprints in collaboration with Product and QA teams.

  • Mentor and support team members, promoting best practices and a collaborative culture.

  • Track and report on team performance, identifying blockers and facilitating resolution.

Technical Ownership
  • Act as the technical owner for back office systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to translate roadmap features into robust technical solutions.

  • Review code, propose architectural improvements, and ensure alignment with platform standards.

  • Guide the team in managing technical debt and modernising legacy systems.

Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Support, Security, Infrastructure, and Front End teams to ensure effective integration of new features and platform consistency.

  • Support the wider business by improving internal tooling and workflows that rely on the back office platform.

  • Provide second line technical support where necessary to assist with escalated issues.

Quality & Compliance
  • Enforce high standards for code quality, documentation, and automated testing.

  • Ensure updates meet internal QA benchmarks and contribute to release planning.

  • Uphold data protection and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership or senior developer role, ideally within SaaS or enterprise software.

  • Strong hands on coding skills in modern frameworks and languages (e.g., PHP, Go, Symphony, Laravel).

  • Proven experience leading agile software development teams.

  • Solid understanding of databases, APIs, and microservices.

  • Experience managing technical roadmaps and stakeholder expectations.

  • Confident working with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable
  • Experience in the attractions, ticketing, or leisure industries.

  • Familiarity with reporting systems, data pipelines, and system configuration tools.

  • Exposure to frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.

  • Prior involvement in system re architecture or platform migration projects.
