Job Description

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

STS Aviation Services continues to expand and is looking for an experienced B1 Aircraft Mechanic (Line Maintenance) to join our growing team in Manchester. If you're passionate about aviation and ready to play a key role in supporting one of the UK's leading MROs, we'd love to hear from you.

Applicants must be UK citizens or hold valid authorization to work in the United Kingdom with at least two years remaining before expiration.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
  • Follow both STS and customer-specific processes, ensuring all work is accurately recorded and logged
  • Maintain the highest levels of maintenance quality, safety, and efficiency to meet customer expectations
  • Complete man-hour bookings and documentation accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, Health & Safety standards, and COSHH regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing line maintenance on large commercial aircraft
  • Valid authorization to work in the UK (for any employer)
  • Current or eligible DBS clearance
  • Solid working knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
