Azure Solution Architect required to join a leading brand in Warwick on a freelance basis to help migrate from on prem to an Azure cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, govern, and deliver end-to-end Azure architectures aligned with business and technical requirements, including standards, patterns, and ongoing design changes.
• Lead architecture workshops, approvals, implementations, and migrations (on-premises to Azure and cloud-to-cloud), integrating Azure with enterprise systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, security, identity and access management, and data protection across all solutions.
• Optimise cloud solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership across DevOps, Data, Integration, and Networking teams, maintaining architecture documentation, diagrams, and roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Azure compute, networking, storage, security, and monitoring.
• CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, and Terraform.
• Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of microservices, containers, and AKS.
• Experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory, Synapse, and SQL Database.
