Azure Platform Engineer (Azure AI)

We are currently looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to work for a consultancy client of ours. This role will be working on a client project to build out an Azure data platform serving out a range of Azure based services. You will need experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application gateway and Azure Networking (private networking endpoints). You will also need experience with AI focussed Azure components such as Azure Open AI, Azure AI Services, AI Foundry and AI Search. You will help setting up bespoke AI Workspaces for different teams within the organisation.

In general you will need a deep understanding of DevOps and automation with Terraform and CI/CD with a broad and deep Azure knowledge of general Azure components and capabilities and experience of the newer AI offerings that Azure provides.

You will need to be on site 1-2 days a week and the role will be inside IR35.
