Enterprise Azure Platform Engineer x3

Location: Remote with 2 days a month on-site (travel and accommodation expenses covered)

Salary: Up to £70k + Benefits + SC Clearance provided/transferred

Locations considered: Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Newport, Truro, Torquay, or surrounding areas

Responsibilities
  • Manage enterprise Azure critical national infrastructure in a large-scale environment
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Azure services including Compute, Storage, Networking, etc.
  • Utilize Azure Management tools such as Azure Monitor, Agents, KQL, ARM templates, Azure Policies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Azure DevOps, Bicep, etc.
  • Perform scripting with PowerShell and manage patching in cloud environments
  • Follow ITIL incident management practices, document troubleshooting steps, and ensure SLA/OLA/KPI adherence
  • Engage in customer support activities, including incident triage, resolution, and proactive problem management
  • Develop and maintain operational and process documentation
  • Contribute to security and compliance standards (GDPR, ISO, SOC, etc.)
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT and Azure/cloud experience
  • 5 years UK work experience or existing SC security clearance
  • Experience with managed cloud services in enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of Azure platform services and troubleshooting skills
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell
