Azure Entra ID Architect

This is a hybrid working position and requires being on site in London 2 days per week.

Overview

The Azure Entra ID Architect will have strong expertise in Azure Entra ID B2B collaboration and external user management to support building an Extranet portal on SharePoint Online/M365. The Architect/Consultant will design, configure, and govern external user access using Azure Entra ID's native capabilities, ensuring secure and compliant collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Azure Entra ID/Azure Active Directory architecture and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure B2B collaboration and external identity management.
• Design and configure Microsoft Entra External ID (CIAM) for external customer/partner access to M365 apps like SharePoint Online & MS Teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Access Packages, Entitlement Management, Access Reviews.
• Expertise in Conditional Access and MFA enforcement for external users.
• Experience with Entra ID Governance capabilities (Identity Lifecycle, Identity Protection, PIM).
• Familiarity with SharePoint Online external sharing settings, Teams external collaboration, and OneDrive external sharing.
• Understanding of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and federation scenarios for external identity providers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Sensitivity Labels, and DLP policies as applied to external collaboration.
• Exposure to cross-tenant synchronization and B2B Direct Connect features.
• Experience of setting up BAU support model for automated user life cycle management, alerts and reporting.
• Experience of setting up Extranet environment at scale with implementation of industry standard best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot authentication, guest access, and sharing issues across M365 services.
