Azure Architect - UK (Reading)

Hotel accommodation is available if travel exceeds 1 hour.

Permanent position: 75,000 - 110,000 GBP (annual gross + benefits).

The Azure Technical Architect will play a key role in stakeholder management, ensuring smooth deployment and integration of new components while maintaining platform stability.

At the architecture level, the Azure platform must be managed in accordance with the Microsoft roadmap, including changes related to storage accounts, HTTP servers, new feature releases, and upgrades. It typically takes 3-6 months to assess the impact, design, and implement these changes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-level, low-level, and integration design documents.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, including project managers, delivery managers, and security architects at the customer side.
• Monitor and prepare for changes in Microsoft components such as storage accounts, HTTP servers, feature releases, and upgrades.
• Ensure platform stability through continuous monitoring and updates.
