AWS Engineer - Banking

They are currently seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to join the team on a 5-month contract based in London.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build resilient service-oriented architecture (SOA) using AWS cloud-native components
• Develop RESTful APIs using AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, and other serverless technologies
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for reliable and repeatable deployments
• Optimize and maintain AWS infrastructure leveraging services such as S3, IAM, Athena, Glue, Lambda, SageMaker, EventBridge, and SQS

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven track record in developing and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS
• Deep expertise in Terraform to manage AWS infrastructure as code
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda for serverless application development
• Proficiency in core AWS services: S3, IAM, Glue, Athena, SageMaker, EUP, SQS, API Gateway, and EventBridge
