We're looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing team in Bristol. You'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that supports our mission-critical applications and services.
Your New Mission:
You'll be involved in the full lifecycle of cloud infrastructure projects, including:
- Designing and deploying AWS infrastructure using EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, and Security Groups.
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using PowerShell and CloudFormation.
- Monitoring and maintaining system health and performance using CloudWatch.
- Supporting serverless architecture and automation using AWS Lambda.
- Ensuring cloud environments are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve system reliability.

We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
- Has 3-5 years experience understanding core AWS services including EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, VPC, and Security Groups.
- Is proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Has experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation.
- Is familiar with monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch.
- Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Enjoys solving complex problems and working collaboratively across teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools.
- Understanding of networking and cloud security best practices.
