AWS Architect - Consultancy

Join a global consultancy delivering automation solutions to a major name in the hospitality sector. An experienced AWS Architect is required for a 6-month contract based in Luton, offering a hybrid working model.

This role is central to advancing the client's automation journey across international operations. You'll collaborate closely with developers and project leads to guide AWS integration, shape architecture decisions, and ensure the delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have very strong experience with AWS Cloud Technologies.
• Be highly proficient in Amazon Lex, with a strong understanding of its features and limitations.
• Have hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and related AWS services.
• Demonstrate expertise in Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with at least one programming language (eg, Python, JavaScript) for Lambda function development.
• Understanding of NLP concepts such as intent classification and entity recognition.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Lead customer discussions on AWS automation capabilities and technology.
• Guide the development team to address integration challenges and achieve automation goals.
• Manage customer expectations on product quality and performance.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to remove impediments and meet go-live deadlines.
• Provide architectural oversight and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Promote best practices and adoption of AWS-native automation tools.
